As with the rest of the hotels of the Harmony Resorts group, the Sun Beach has been distinguished and awarded several times for its exceptional services and initiative towards sustainable tourism.
In 2003, the we have won the Thomson Skytours Gold Award as the Overall Winner among all 4‐star hotels worldwide while a year later (2004) got distinguished as one of the best 4‐star Thomson Skytours Summer Sun Accommodations. The Sun Beach Holiday Club, a time-share property next to the Sun Beach Aparthotel, has also been honored with the RCI Hospitality Award in 2001 & 2002 as well as attracted the RCI Resort International Distinction award for 2001, 2002, 2004, 2007 & 2008.
The Complex was the first green hotel to receive the Innovation Label for Sustainable Tourism & Services of South Aegean ISTOS (level III), awarded by the Chamber of Dodecanese. An award well deserved following a series of innovations in the Environmental policy applied during the past years.
Lately, Zoover an independent review website with thousands of international members has chosen the Sun Beach Resort Complex as an overall winner in its category and awarded the property with the Zoover Recommended Certificate for 2010 showing the appreciation of numerous international guests for our continuous efforts in the Hospitality industry.
